Interview with Director and Animator Lino DiSalvo

In our 100th podcast we interview Director & animator Lino DiSalvo. Lino DiSalvo is an accomplished artist in the animation industry, most recently known for directing and producing the animated Christmas special "Reindeer In Here" for Paramount Plus. With a career spanning almost 17 years at Disney Feature Animation, DiSalvo has contributed to numerous notable projects. He served as the Head of Animation for the successful film Frozen and was a supervising animator on Tangled and Bolt. Additionally, he lent his skills as an animator to films such as Meet the Robinsons, Chicken Little, 102 Dalmatians, and Reign of Fire.

Inspired by his cultural heritage and Italian folklore, DiSalvo is currently developing an animated feature that explores the realms of monsters, wizards, and magical spells. In addition to his work behind the scenes, DiSalvo has also lent his voice to various animated characters, including "Vinnie the Pigeon" in Bolt, "Gristletoe Joe" in Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice, and "Robotitron" in the movie Playmobil: The Movie.
