Kiel Figgins

Kiel is currently an Associate Animation Supervisor at Industrial Light and Magic in London.  His work includes Avatar 2, Spiderman, Star Wars, Jurassic Park and Ready Player One. Before ILM, he also worked at Framestore and Double Negative.  Prior to coming to London, he worked in Los Angeles at various VFX houses like Digital Domain and The Third Floor, while also working on a wide range of commercials at studios like MPC, Pysop, and the Mill. Combining a technical knowledge learned from starting out in games, Kiel has taken on more atypical shots during production, these include previz, rigging, cameras and working with other departments to find creative solutions to the problems at hand. This path reflects in his animation workflow by identifying the key moments of the shot, exploring different paths to get there and working with others to achieve the highest possible results.
