Angie has created animation for film, music videos, ride films, games, and commercials since 1994. Her film and commercial work include Oscar winning films, two Clios and one VES award. Over the years, she has worked on numerous productions including: Stuart Little 2, Pan's Labyrinth, Smurfs, Disney's 50th Anniversary commercials, Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus, Garfield, I'm Here, Chronicles of Narnia, Geico Gecko spots, Scooby Doo Too, XMen 2, and National Treasure. Jones was trained at Atlanta College of Art in Fine Arts and transitioned to CG in the mid 1990's. Always with one foot firmly planted in the arts, she is currently enrolled in the Laguna College of Art and Design MFA Painting program. She has written 3 books on animation, the most recent being "Thinking Animation; Bridging the Gap between 2D and CG" http://thinkinganimation.com/ Jones has also taught at several institutions in the Los Angeles area.
